First aid course for children & babies

The child & baby first aid course at the WunderVoll midwifery practice in Lutherstadt Wittenberg is designed for all (future) parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, babysitters and anyone else who regularly has to deal with children. In 3.5 hours, we will teach you the crucial steps and measures you can take to help your child or a child in your care in an emergency. At the end of the course, each participant will receive a written certificate of attendance, as well as a 50% voucher for the exclusive and unique HELPKEY - the emergency and advice keyring for on the go. The following topics will be covered, among others:

• Special features of babies and toddlers
• Behavior in an emergency
• Emergency call and emergency numbers
• Most common emergencies (choking, pseudocroup, febrile convulsions, etc.)
• Lateral position / resuscitation
• Dealing with bone fractures
• Poisoning in infancy
• Preventive measures
• Home / first-aid kit

The minimum number of participants is 8. The course is limited to a maximum of 20 participants. Did you know? Many health insurance companies cover the costs of attending our first aid courses. Ask your health insurance provider for advice in advance! Due to the course structure, which includes both theoretical and practical units, it is unfortunately not permitted to bring babies or small children.
